Things No One Told Me About Writing

My first book, A Girl Betrayed, has officially been out for one month (yesterday!). Whew. What a month it's been. From building social media, responding to readers, marketing and promotion, where does one find the time to write the next book?
I also work full-time as an RN. Granted, it's a hybrid schedule, so I have more free time than the average full-time worker. However, how does one fit it all in? I can't say that anyone ever warned me about this. I always imagined that writing the book was the hard part. Umm, nope, wrong. I longingly look back to just writing.
I am currently just shy of the 10,000 word mark in A Girl Forsaken: The Unfolding Blackout Book II. It's been a blast outlining and really figuring out where this series is going. All of you readers have really inspired me to keep going! I never in my wildest dreams imagined such a warm response.
In an effort to boost sales and, perhaps, save some valuable time, I'm investigating marketers through the online marketplace, Fiverr. There are definitely some intriguing aspects of paying someone else to do some of the work. Many of the services start at just $5, with add-ons depending on which one you go with it. It looks like I can get the full boatload for $42 to start.
So... onward with marketing! (and writing and reading and posting and editing and... well, you get the point)
Thanks for reading! Send me a message with any feedback or ideas. I'd love to hear from you.
