Greetings, everyone. Sorry for the wait. Whew! What a year it's been!
It's official: Book II, A Girl Forsaken is live on Amazon! The paperback version can be ordered now, while the kindle version is available via preorder. The E-book version can be delivered automatically to your device this Saturday, 4/17/21, after preordering. Hurray!
Book III, tentatively titled A Girl Redeemed, is currently in the works. I am going to do my utmost to get this volume out much faster than the second. Barring another global pandemic, I think I've hit my stride. Everyone, cross your fingers and every other body part for the livelihood of my motivation.
In other news, my fantasy short story has not yet been published (anthology to be completed in the near future). My horror short story can still be purchased on Amazon in the anthology Fearful Indeed. Check it out if you haven't already.
Anyone heard of Vocal? It's a short story platform online. There is a free version, where writers can submit short stories on almost any topic and readers can choose from thousands of authors and pieces for some quick entertainment. Vocal also has a premium version, in which writers can submit works to specific contests for cash prizes. So far, it seems very cool, even as a way to get my mojo flowing. I currently have four pieces published there. Interested in reading or writing? Go check it out!
Apparently, with different genres, it is suggested that a different penname is used for each. I get it, as some people who may be into my apocalyptic thrillers may not be into an epic fantasy. I like to write what I like to read... which is almost everything. In the future, you can expect to see at least a children's author penname and one for fantasy/paranormal. They say to pick one and stick with it, but who am I to silence my inner stories?
I hope 2021 is treating you all better than 2020... cheers!
