Isn't every writer's dream to have all the time in the world to write? With life, work, family, friends, errands, etc, writers are usually complaining that they just can't find the time to finish their projects. With the COVID-19 quarantine in effect, I suddenly have nothing but time to write. I know I'm not alone in this.

At times, when I'm writing, the words just flow out of me. It's such a rush. But, this usually happens when I have a spare hour between appointments or other distractions. But having unlimited time, the motivation has almost disappeared. There's always tomorrow, right?

Luckily, I've been able to get my groove back, though in small leaps at a time. I try to make myself a schedule each day, with only limited slots for working on my book. It becomes a game, to see how many words I can write in these short spurts. So far, it's working and I'm happy with my progress.

I'm just over halfway through with book two in The Unfolding Blackout trilogy, A Girl Forsaken. I've also started working on the cover... I'm thinking RED. Sneak peeks to come!

How is quarantine treating you? Do you have any hacks to get through the time?

Stay safe and keep reading.
